The Municipality is seeking a qualified company to the complete roof remedial work required for the following locations:

i)  Courtice Community Complex, located at 2950 Courtice Road in Courtice (Ontario)

ii)  Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex located at 2440 Durham Regional Hwy 2 in Bowmanville (Ontario)

All work is to be completed in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained within the tender document.  Roof type for both facilities is SBS Modified Bitumen Membrane (Conventional System).

All bidders must attend the mandatory site meeting at the following locations to allow bidders to take measurements, inspect all existing conditions and to ascertain the amount of work involved.

All attendees must observe and follow all health and safety requirements as it pertains to COVID-19. The number of individuals permitted in the inspection space at one time will be limited according to the space allowed and organizations are requested to limit the number of staff that attend the site meeting; all attendees must practice social distancing, this includes Municipal staff; individuals attending the site visit must not be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19; all attendees must observe and follow all health and safety requirements including the use of PPE. All attendees will be required to complete the required Covid-19 screening upon arrival.

The site meeting will be held as follows:

Courtice Community Complex – 2950 Courtice Road, Courtice, ON the site meeting will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.

Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex -2440 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Bowmanville, ON the site meeting will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
