The Municipality of Clarington invites suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of janitorial products.  The products are to be delivered to various locations on an as required basis throughout the contract term to meet the requirements of the Municipality.

The work for the contract is for the supply of personal hygiene products, floor care products, and custodial maintenance products by a single provider, on an “as required” basis.  The benefits are to include a simplified paperwork process, improved services levels, use of green products and reduced overall costs.

The contract also includes:

·  The provision of dispensing systems for paper products, chemicals, hygiene products are to be provided to the Municipality of Clarington at no additional cost.

·  The provision of training for respective staff at each location in product usage, application, and operation of equipment;

The ideal provider will carry a wide range of products to accommodate all municipal requirements for not only the supply of products required but also technical support and training, on-line ordering/on-line catalogue capabilities.  The successful bidder will be able to provide suitable products under each category.  The delivery time and the availability will also be of utmost importance.
