The Municipality of Clarington (Municipality) is seeking a qualified company to complete the reconstruction and remediation of the Vanstone Mill storm sewer outfall in Bowmanville. All work is to be completed in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained herein. The scope of works include:

Reconstruction and remediation of the Vanstone Mill storm sewer outfall including:

• Local storm sewer and structure removal and replacement from the existing catchbasin manhole on Scugog Street through to the proposed outfall headwall location
• Creek outfall channel reinstatement 
• Maintenance Access
  • Including maintaining access for businesses within the Vanstone Mill property.
• Flow diversion/By-pass
• Removal and replacement of existing parking lot asphalt and road base
• Associated landscape restoration, and tree protection. 
• Utility protection/support
• Installation of plunge pool in outfall channel to mitigate increases in velocity at the outlet
• Bat condo installation
