The Municipality is seeking professional services for the engineering design and project administration to reconfigure and refresh the Clarington Library Museums & Archives (CLMA) Main branch (Bowmanville Library), located at 163 Church Street, Bowmanville. The successful proposal will demonstrate a clear understanding of the evolution of Library, Archive and Museum spaces. The renovation will absorb the museum exhibits and services, which are offered inside a separate operating facility, the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre, at 62 Temperance Street.   Interactions between staff and members are collaborative and similar to consulting services, which extend over significant periods of time, rather than as a single transaction-based service provider. The space acts as gathering spaces for learning and socializing.
