Bidders will need to register at: https://www.clarington.net/en/do-business/bids-and-tenders.asp Description of Procurement: The Municipality of Clarington (Municipality) will be seeking Proposals from qualified Architectural firms (Prime Consultant) who has the necessary qualifications and experience to provide great value in the delivery of an upcoming Design-Bid-Build project for the South Bowmanville Recreation Complex. The Municipality is providing the industry advance notice of this upcoming procurement to allow them to assemble the appropriate consulting team to respond to this RFP. The Consultant Team will need to be comprised of an Architectural Firm as the lead with the following sub-consultants which constitutes their team:
It is understood and acceptable that one sub-consultant can be responsible for more than one discipline or specialty area although they must be qualified for the responsibilities of those roles. Timeframe for delivery of goods or service or duration of contract: 2024-2026 Number of contracts to be awarded: One (1) OAA Document 600 2021 with Supplementary Conditions with three distinct phases (Phase 1 – Site Planning, Block Planning, Schematic Design, Design Development and Tender Documentation, Phase 2 – Tender and Construction and Phase 3 – Post Construction). Name of trade agreements that is applicable to the procurement: Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). RFP process: 2 envelope system Estimated release date: Mid to End of October 2023. Estimated closing date for submission: November 2023. Submission: Electronic bid submissions only.
