Description: 

The Municipality of Clarington (Municipality) is seeking a qualified company to complete intersection accessibility improvements and the installation of pedestrian crossovers at the various locations described below. All work is to be completed in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained herein. The scope of works includes:

  • Removal and replacement of deficient concrete curbs and sidewalks, installation of accessible pedestrian signals (APS) (ducts and footings only), installation of Type C pedestrian crossovers complete with flashing beacons powered by solar panel, installation of tactile plates, road restoration and landscape restoration, and signage, and line paint improvements.

The work is located within the Municipality of Clarington at the following locations:

  • Intersection of Longworth Avenue and Clayton Crescent (Bowmanville) -

  • Intersection of Longworth Avenue and Brooking Street (Bowmanville) -
    Accessibility Improvements Location
  • Intersection of Baseline Road and Spry Avenue (Bowmanville) -
